Just received my Marmont in the mail today. After selling my disco I felt like I miss it but decided to get the marmont camera bag instead. I’ll take more pics later but I noticed the back of the bag is the GG logo instead of the heart logo. And the shape is not a full rectangular shape. But I still love it!

I purchased this 1inch (the men’s belt) back in 2017 online direct at GUCCI.COM and waited MONTHS for it since it was backordered. When it came it seemed fine and I’ve rarely used it (maybe a total of 5 times) but I recently took it out and it looks soooo tarnished with this odd SPOTTING. I’ve kept it stored in the dust bag and box in a dry and room temp place. I have never been through rain or water with it so I don’t know why it looks like this. I know it’s “aged or vintage” hardware, but this spotting is concerning. Is the men’s just more “aged”? Anyone else? Thoughts? Please, much appreciated ! I also used my belt hardly 5 times and keep it in the box and dustbag. Mine is the womans version and it’s full off black spots. I’m wondering if keeping the belt in the box and dustbag has something to do with this?

Never keep leather goods in their boxes - the leather needs to breathe. In the dustbag is fine but not the box. A friend of mine made a very expensive mistake doing this to a Chanel bag. Although the black spots are on your hardware it could still have been caused by moisture from the leather sweating.

I just took it out and my marmont bag to, because I also keep that in a box. Nothing happend to the bags hardware yet. But better safe then sorry, I don’t have allot off storage room and it easier for me to stack the boxes with the items.

Hello ladies, I need your help in choosing. I found both bags in the luxe designer section of Century21 department store in Manhattan. Both View attachment 4572180 brand new with tags.
I am a marmont lover and have been wanting a marmont flap bag for some time but didn't want to spend the hefty price tag if 2890.00 at Gucci store.
I found both these beauties below retail.
So I bought both but one has to go back. Cannot afford to keep both.
Please help me decide which one would you pick?

it looked soooo damn small haha.. i wonder will it fit iphone xsmax and lv key pouvch..and compact powder..?

How is the quality for the marmont small/mini?

I’m debating on returning my LV palm springs mini and getting the marmont instead. LV has had pretty bad quality issues with several of their bags lately and it’s really turned me off buying more.

I have been looking for "the little red bag" for a long time! Actually I usually use big bags like Celine luggage but sometimes I can´t bring "my whole life" each time I take a coffeebreak in the city...Finally, Christmas eve I went to NK in Gothenburg in Sweden to purchase this lovely Christmas gift but it was a "mission impossible" to choose between "mini" and "small"...after being there for a quarter I decided to go for a "small" GG. Today I´m a happy owner of this baby! Say hello to my bb and Happy new year to U all bagladies!

Why does the hardware on my new top handle mini look so much thicker and less shiny than the hardware on my other marmont bags? Is this how the bag is supposed to look? Is something wrong with it?

I tried it in store. It fits my iphone 11, LV 6 key holder, and lipstick. You can probably fit a card holder too.

Hi all, i got my gucci marmont matelasse bag in small today. I ordered it online as gucci boutique is a bit far from me.

When I received the bag, there were creases on the bag. I know the leather is lambskin sonits very delicate but wasnt sure if this was normal?

Pictures below. I noticed issues with the stitching too but wasnt sure if i was being too picky?

Can anyone help?

I know this is late but I just got a brand new marmont flap bag in small size where I personally bought in Gucci Japan. I requested the SA to give me a new stock. I kinda don’t like him because he made me feel like he was too lazy to get me a new stock and forcing me to just get the display because it’s also “new.” Anyway, when I get to the hotel I reexamined my bag and found creases. Also I have problem on its stitching. Hayyy, it makes me sad because the bag is not cheap and the reason why I chose to buy my bags personally is for me to make sure that I’m getting what I paid for. Lesson learned. Next time, I will not feel bad for asking the SAs many times for a new stock of bag. If it irritates them then I’m not going to buy at all and will find a store that will actually entertain all my requests.

I bought my marmont mini flap in februari 2019 and it still looks as new. I do stuff it with paper when it's in storage to keep the shape.

Thank you! I actually ended up getting a black mini marmont. I might exchange it for the small in dusty rose though. I’m planning on getting a chanel mini and it’s just too similar to the mini marmont.
