Hi ladies! Quick question please, did they discontinue the medium Marmont with the magnetic closure outer pocket (not flap style) does anyone know? I’ve only recently discovered it even existed (having coveted the small Marmont bag forever but discounted it due to size...) but I cannot seem to find it anywhere! I’m in the UK btw. Thank you! x

This bag is from 2017 and most recently hit the Gucci Outlets. I bought it in Porcelain Rose which is a Taupe color. The black was very limited in the outlets, like only 2 were sent to each store and sold out immediately. Also, there is no magnetic closure. It is a top zipper closure.View attachment 4520308

Ohh I was under the impression that front quilted section under the GG was an external pocket with magnetic closure?
So the outlets have the porcelain rose colourway? As that’s the colour I wanted ideally! Although do you mean the outlets in the US or UK? Thank you for your help x
The outlets in USA had it 2 weeks ago. They are now sold out. My sister called every outlet for the black or taupe color and no luck, gone.

Hi! Did you end up adding an extra hole to the strap or leaving as-is? I am having the same dilemma (I am 5'2 and the strap is just too long for me on the shoulder). And the holes are different then on the Soho - more of a teardrop shape. If they were just the regular holes, I would do it myself with a leather hole punch. If I am going to add extra holes to the strap, I'd prefer that the holes match in shape. I've found past comments on adding extra holes to the Soho strap, but not much information on adding extra holes to the Marmont strap.
Hi, yes, I did end up adding two extra holes to the strap. I took it to a cobbler here in town, and since he could only add round holes and not teardrop shaped ones, he suggested another option to shorten the strap. This second option would have involved cutting the strap at the point where the long strap attaches to the chain on the side of the purse. However, I did not want this done so I asked him to go ahead and add round-shaped holes.
Honestly, it looks fine, and to me, it is not an issue that the hole is round versus teardrop-shaped. The main thing is to make sure that the hole is the right size for the knob. Punching a hole that is too large or too small is more of an issue than the shape of the hole. Let me know if you would like to see pictures and I can post them. Hope this helps.
