Getting away with a pink bag

When I buy a pink Valentino tote, I dare anyone to say a word about it.
I think it also depends on the style of the bag and the shade of pink. ;)
(I am 51)

Edit: After thinking about it, I have a berry pink bag already. Stam. Admittedly it's not a baby pink or Pepto pink, but still in the pink family.
Second edit: LOL! I have 2 pink bags.

I thought I'm more of a purple lover but it turns out I actually have more pink handbags. Lemme share my versatile pink handbag collection!ImageUploadedByPurseForum1386687871.077661.jpg My throwaround bag- a pink Longchamp ImageUploadedByPurseForum1386687945.969345.jpg MJ little Stam for dressier occasions ImageUploadedByPurseForum1386688034.356595.jpg A clutch/ crossbody for lighter days and my latest though I already did a reveal elsewhere ImageUploadedByPurseForum1386688119.304514.jpg Coach Candace medium in watermelon for casual days when I need cheering up :). I love pinkand I have no issues wearing pink clothes or shoes. However, I feel it's kinda tacky for someone like me who's almost turning 40 to be wearing a pink bag. I have a pochette which I believe is not to loud given it's size but I don't know about having a medium sized or large pink bag though. I would love to have one but I want your opinions about this. TIA!

My 39th birthday present to myself was a pink Michael Kors large Miranda tote. Very loud, very proud! I think there is a level of cutsey-ness with pink. For me, I did not want logos are lots of hardware. I waited years to find the right big pink bag. You will know it when you find it!

Hi!!!!
I edited my post.

Thank you so much.
**** I love your pinks! And you know I especially love that Stam!

Oh I definitely love your rainbow Stams! I wish I had gotten more when MJ had a variety of colors! You're sooooo lucky to have the variety of colors cuz now he's just sticking to 3 :( I think the leather quality is so underrated. You got the best deal!

Your Bal is to die for but quilts will always have a special place in my <3 They're all beautiful!

I love that pink Michael Kors bag and I am not a huge MK fan.

I am 55 and if I found a pink bag I liked, I would rock it out with navy blue, gray, black, white, would look great with all those colors. I particularly like bright pink with navy and pale pink with grays.

My brightest bags are a yellow clutch and a yellow, blue and white bigger bag. Our local college football team colors are yellow and green, so they got a work out when I worked somewhere that dressing in team colors was encouraged periodically (yes, I even have a UofO team scarf).

Brights cheer up our dreary Oregon winters, that's for sure.
