Yes, IceEarl, I used a standard 90cm twill folded loosely on the bias. But, I think you could use a Twilly and possibly a Vintage as well. And, of course, one of the glittery scarves (glams?) would be lovely for evening use too.

I also used a regular 90 cm twill folded with the corners tucked in to make an oblong. Any piece of silk would probably do!

Cyndee, my particular colar is 23" long and about 5-1/2" wide, but I think the Hermes collar is a couple of inches shorter. I think it will work with a variety of lengths depending how you want it to look, but I tried to keep it as close to the "real deal" as possible, and this length definitely worked fine.
