wickedassin, are you sure:smile1: ? i thought you decided you don't like the bag and the hardware, that's why you returned yours. What changed your mind?

I must say I'm more towards letting it go and get a darkbrown or white, I will sleep on it again. And also not sure how to go about it yet;) .

I might ask for some close-up photos--but I think I like your color MUCh better than the chocolate brown I had. Too bad I don't still have it--we could have traded! Oh well... I think I just don't like how the hardware was more "obvious" on the chocolate brown one I had.... Regardless, keep me posted on what you decide.

Have you seen the picture without flash on page 2 to have a better idea of the colour (not under the sun)?

apparently GD is coming out very soon with a chain strap bag? someone on tfs said it was in a recent issue of UK vogue or harper's. I'm going to go look for the ad tommorow...that interests me exceedingly. I would love to see a more elaborate style of bag from Gerard Darel. I still kinda want a Charlotte though...hm.

Bethany, would you post a pic of the chain strap bag if you end up getting that mag? I'm so totally dying to see it.

If it looks anything like the MJ's chain, I'll totally be sold. The thing held me back from the Stam was the quilting, and that's no biggie here (I actually liked a lot of things about the bag, but I was afraid it would be too "trendy" because if its distinctive shape)

I'm curious too, because I have the chocolate on the way to me from BG (maybe the return that was posted earlier in this thread?) and think it might look really pretty in a rich chocolate brown. I love the camel though!

They dont have it in their high-end designer bags section, it's in the mid-range area
