Scarves Framing a Hermes Scarf

I've been thinking about framing my "Les Boxes" but I know as soon as fall rolls around I'm going to want to wear it. It would look so good in our dining room though because it is equestrian themed! So I keep going back and forth!

I've always wanted to frame the scarves, but it'll have to wait until I have my own house.

The scarves are gorgeous!! And I like how you can see the entire pattern when you frame it as opposed to how different it looks when you wear it.

KB.....I DID frame a pic of a Kelly!!!! LOL! I bought an original ad from the 1940's from a magazine on eBay and FRAMED IT! I love it.....it's so cool!

BAGG.....you could line some walls of your closet with framed scarves or Hermes Ads!

Me too!!! Well, not a Kelly but the Paris-Bombay ad that appeared in spring at magazines. I cut it out and framed it. Also, I bought a 1950s ad of Hermès bags and I framed that too!!! :wlae:

Same here. The only thing I can do with my scarf is to frame it, since I can't do anything with scarves and twillies. I also have to wait til I have my own house to do it, this is also why I can't buy any tea sets. The Parental Unit will have a meltdown if they know how much these goodies cost:laugh:

LOL Kou, my mom already things I'm going to bankrupt her..and that was all over a Chanel!! However, my mom was the one who encouraged me to buy the twillies, the scarf rings, and then she paid for it o.O!
At least it was at the duty-free store in Taipei :)

Between the two of us, my mother and I have five colorways of Kermit Oliver's "Pani La Shar Pawnee" framed. She has 3 and I have 2. It features a large picture of an Indian Chief and is really mesmerizing. I haven't remounted mine on my wall since having my apt. painted, but I will definitely take a picture of them and add it later.
My local Hermes shop recommended the framing shop and they had done other scarves previously. They were careful to protect the rolled edges and pinned them back before framing the piece. I love the way it looks, because their scarves are so rich and detailed.

I love framed Hermes scarves ! I have five on stair walls from the first to the second floor. If anyone is interested I can post some photos. I love walking up the stairs and seeing these beautiful works of art.

I also have trompe l'oeil painting of a Hermes box.

Oops, almost forgot I also have three pochette scarves 'Sangles' (different colorways) over the dresser that holds my Hermes scarves.

Hermes love !

Here are some photos of some of my framed scarves. Love them !

Hermeslady, that's absolutely gorgeous. May I ask if your framer really took good care of the scarves? I need to find a trustworthy framer. Hermes scarves would make stunning, different wall art!
