Suzie, I have noticed a few premier designers still creating lippicat coats. Oscar De La Renta had this one for $25,000.

Hope I don't get shouted at for steering this to Lippi and away from fox for a little while!

Very light and casual look, love it!
Maybe we should change this forum to "Fox and friends"
There are so many more beautiful exotic and different furs out there. Even rex rabbit, which is so popular and affordable, has some beauties we should show :)

I do, It's so different than other fox furs. It has a much more masculine look to it, and it's so easy to dress down. I feel I don't stand out as much.
But my fav is still red fox, and white....yummy snow white! :girlsigh:
Yes I can see that. I like the 'blue fox' furs which are a thick and rich colour of white.

Rex is a nice fur I agree and it's cheap. I am looking currently on the AliBaba site for a nice rex rabbit 'plate' which is just the pelts sewn together. Plates make beautiful rugs and for a plate of 12 pelts it's only about $90 I think. I'll get looking!!

That does sound nice! Might make a nice throw blanket too
Please share pics when it arrives :)

I think I have a blue fox coat....hmm, this is a sign one has too many?

Yes the word "think" did make me chuckle. Actually I am going to get a price from a furrier and see what the price difference is. I'll end up paying more but I am sure I will get a nicer rug / blanket. Also she can line in with something nice as opposed to the reverse being the suede side of the pelts.

I'll keep you posted!!

Since I live in the Deep South, it doesn't really get cold enough for a coat, but I have found I get more use from my cashmere & fox trim wrap. I have been wanting to get another one in Grey/Silver so DH decided I should get this one trimmed in natural Shadow Fox since it's a little different from the one I already have. I love the collar on it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it as well as one trimmed in all grey, but once I saw it IRL, I love it! It can dress up or dress down. Now I just have to wait til the temps cool down. It's still in the 70's &80's in Ga.

So gorgeous and elegant. I was just eyeing something similar (although color on yours is nicer). It must look gorgeous on.

Oh this is gorgeous! I love the color. the shadow fox has the perfect coloring.
Hoping you get some chilly days real soon so you can enjoy it. DH has often hinted moving down south (Florida), and because of my love for furs I won't do it! I'll take icicles hanging from my nose any day lol

Thank you, Ladies. This one is a little lighter in weight than my black one. This one is 100% cashmere while my black one is a Cashmere & wool blend. Both are long enough for me wrap around with one side thown over the opposite shoulder. I generally wear it like that so the arm my purse is on isn't rubbing the fur. I reeeaalllyyyy with the cooler temps would come on so I can take this one out for her debut. Hubby says it's suppose to be my Christmas present but I don't think I can wait that long.....unless it stays hot til Christmas. :giggle:

Another "it's gorgeous" comment. The colour of the fur is fab!
