My white fox just came, some dirt spots which I asked the seller before I bought and he said and I quote "There is nothing wrong with this coat, it is just the camera angle"
So he lied about that, second while inspecting it within seconds I see a gaping hole in the amrpit!! This is why I try and stay away from ebay. I was fighting a claim just last week (for a telephone not fur) seller said new and it came used and broken lol.

Look at this thing, a gorgeous coat down the drain!

Oh my. Is it not returnable? Why oh why do people lie. I swear if every single adult in this world told the truth and acted in kindness, the world’s problems would be solved!

Mkay a little off topic. Sorry about your coat. What a shame.

Ebay has more liars than i've seen in my life time
It's true, why do adults lie? and so many of them too!
The seller is deeply upset, and says it was her furriers fault and nothing like this ever happened, yeah right!
She said I can return it or send it to her for repair, I told her I want to take it to Neiman Marcus and see what they say and if it's repairable and if there are other issues that I did not find.
I don't trust her repairs, if you know what i mean.
It's gorgeous otherwise, it's so full and snuggly
Do you think it can be repaired? how much does something like this cost? I have no clue
Here it is, isn't it dreamy? I can't let it go but I want some kind of reimbursement. It was 1,800 dollars!

It’s definitely returnable and Kittie needs to open a SNAD so she doesn’t have to pay return shipping. I wouldn’t even waste time trying to discuss it reasonably through eBay messaging. Just open a case and leave appropriate feedback so other buyers can be warned.

I wouldn’t waste the time or effort. Also, be aware that if you alter the condition, you won’t be able to return or open a case against the seller. For $1800, it should have been clean and in good repair.

If you’re sure you want to salvage this, check to see if the tears are along seams or other stress points, whether the skin is dry or supple and whether, if you look closely along those seams and stress points, you see other previous repairs.

BeenBurned over on the eBay thread has a lot of great advice about returns and opening cases, if you need help.

If it was another easy to find color It would have gone back without questions...but it's white :( White is so hard to find, this is my second white fur from ebay that is busted! The first one a few years ago was infested with bugs.
I won't alter it until I see what NM says, if it's an easy repair and the coat has some life left to it then I will keep it. But I want some money back if that is the case. I won't be able to get to NM until next week.

It does look gorgeous. Im guessing it can be repaired but having never purchased on eBay I don’t know what best thing to do is. That’s bs though that seller did not disclose.

I suppose you could have furrier look at it then decide what to do. So sorry.

That's the plan, have someone look at it and see what they say.
Of course the local furrier is at an expo and not available tomorrow...geez
