I keep going back to look at your gorgeous pink Gucci fox and I’ve been wondering if it has a fun lining like the minks you’ve posted. Not that it needs it because it’s fabulous all on its own...
Honestly, your Guccis are mind blowing. I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to offer you some advice. Since you paid retail, ask your SA if there’s a friends and family sale (there is and it will be here in NYC) and see if you can get in so you can score whatever furs are left at special prices.

Aww I asked our SA about sales, he said the furs won't be going on sale because Gucci plans on auctioning them off sometime in 2018
Do you think he can get a discount on furs for friends and family? I will ask him, that would be great!
He offered to take us out to dinner next time where in NYC though
I keep checking department store websites that sell a few pieces and so far no sales on Gucci furs either.

Breathtaking. Wonder where/when auction will be. I have seen Michael kors furs on sale since he announced no fur. I wonder if some famous person will snatch up all the Gucci furs like lady Gaga or something. Gucci furs are so unique. Truly works of fashion art.
No word on when or where, only that is will be a charity auction and will go towards various animal shelters.
I just remembered, there is nothing left in my size anyway. Everything left was a 40 or smaller so even if there were a sale it doesn't help me
He was checking Italy for a larger size in the Astrakhan coat for me, he said they would get back to him early January, but since I got the gray one from Saks I don't need it anymore
They sure are a work of art, what a shame they are doing away with it. Wait til you see the faux furs Gucci will be putting out, so far they are lousy! lol
I can picture Lady Gaga snatching up the rest
He did have the mink with G logo's coat in a 42, it was 58 grand
and I really don't need another mink. Could I finally be minked out? 
If you wait a few years for the second hand market these furs will be a fraction of original cost. Take that Gucci Fisher for instance, i'm sure that was around 30 grand new, I got it for 2,000. Huge savings right there, and it's in great shape too.
The resale market of furs is horrible...good for us, but bad for the sellers

Yep for sure. Just like Stella McCartney's and I think Tom Ford did an over priced faux. Well when they don't sell they will realize they have to lower the price. I really can't imagine it being a designer hit.
You guys know more than I but I think faux fur is either awful or over priced. There are perhaps a few exceptions but I am sorry - if I can buy a decent fox fur coat for £300 brand new I would not even entertain faux personally. No offense to anyone who likes faux.
No comparison to the real thing. For me personally I buy what I think is cute or looks good. Some things I just can't resist and if a faux is too cute to pass up I will take it!
My Stella McCartney is crazy soft. Two people thought it was real. It is white fur on the inside and a gray flannel or wool (forgot) on the outside. It's heavy and very warm. It was expensive, then of course a few months after I bought it, it went on sale! grrrrrr.

Well...it's going to be in the low 20's tonight & tomorrow's high will be in the 30's. Monday & Tuesday, it's suppose to even colder with the low's in the teens. It's going to stay cold all week & is definitely fur weather!! It's time to put the Tanuki collar on the shearling coat & break out the hats!!! The wind was blowing today & I was glad to have my fox & leather coat on today!!
