I’ve never had my coats glazed. Did furrier say it needed it? I have my coats cleaned every other year when I store them. 2 weeks doesn’t sound unreasonable though. Not sure what’s involved. If you want to have it done maybe off season easier.

I read it online that furs need to be glazed every year. I think it restores shine and conditions the fur. It may be part of the whole cleaning process, but I'm not sure.

Hmm. Thanks for this. I’m going to ask my furrier when I bring my coats in.

Edit..I think they do the cleaning and glazing as you suggested. My furrier refers to both “cleaning and glazing” but I’m gonna double check at end of season when I store them.

Ahh yes if it says cleaning and glazing then it sounds like it's part of the whole process. Well guess I'll try it out, and bring in a fur each time I pick up the other. By summer I should be finished lol

I just pulled the trigger on this coat and I’m blaming every single one of you for it. :p You and your luscious fox coats and jackets and great deals and seller recommendations! I’m also blaming the seller for dropping the price by another $50 and the 10% eBay bucks deal. While I’m at it, I’m going to blame the arctic freeze we’ve got going on in NY. Hmmm, did I forget to blame anyone?
