I was really looking forward to these, thought they would be a nice change from Mulberry but found them very disappointing. Hopefully the best is still to come :wondering

Thank you everyone for the feedback...I appreciate it! I still like the green Happy Satchel, but it does make me more hesitant to buy. I don't want to invest in a bag that may not retain somewhat of its value over time.

That would be the thing that stopped me buying one. I don't think you'd get much back at all if you came to resell it :nogood:

Expected a lot from her, and it's verging on the bizarre what she has released.

It shows no creativity at all - nothing original here - like a hybrid McQueen Heroine bag mixed with other boring shapes - Im really puzzled by them!

+1 can't see them becoming iconic or recognisable like what she did for M

Apologies if I have missed another chat about Hill and friends but I saw some in real life in Selfridges yesterday.
They were so well made and of a really high quality.i was pretty impressed to be honest. Not sure about the atheistic of all of them but the quality was better than recent Mulberry.

That's interesting to hear. With the quality already there she could be onto a winner if she comes up with some better designs. IMO the smiley lock feature has to go.

I wonder if our paths crossed Vinnie? I was there yesterday too and agree, the leather was certainly better than that I saw in Mulberry at HOF on Wednesday. The colours too were lovely. The designs.... Maybe not!

I agree, it's such a strange feature isn't it and I found it awkward. That said I am not a fan of fiddly stuff so it might me! :smile1:

Oh my goodness, wouldn't that have been great, a fellow PF member to be able to have a good look at the bags and chat with.
Again, I agree, if she finds her feet with the designs it could be awesome.
One to watch I wonder?

It's as a crack in the walls of hell.
I can smell the sulphur & hear cries of damned souls, through her smiley wink lock.

Unfortunately, I fear is intended to be company's trademark.
So stuck with it.
Hahaha. Don't these people do market research or similar? Someone should have said that the smiley wink lock would be a big no no at that price point.
I would not carry that bag even if I got it for free.
