I totally agree. I work at a discounter superstore and i have to agree that a lot of people expect superb service for a cheap price. If you guys want superb service, go to Neiman Marcus or Barneys. You get what you pay for. The shipping is free and hence the poor packaging method keeps the cost low.

It's Forever 21. Wrinkled clothing would be the least of my worries. It would get wrinkled in the wash anyways and I always iron. My problem with them is how much cheaper the fabrics look in person rather than online. That's why I prefer to shop in stores.
As far as shipping goes, I got my order in an envelope once but no complains. They usually send the stuff to me in a box and all the clothes and individually folded up in clear plastic bags.

I ordered something 3 days ago and it's status has been showing "packed" since yesterday. 3 days to pack 3 items, huh? LOL
I should've said my F21 order got to my house WHILE my UO order was STILL processing (placed the order on the SAME DAY mind you!) But that's where the comparison ends...
And EXCHANGES ONLY at the stores? ...what is this the dinosaur ages?!!
I like to order stuff online, try them on, and return for store credit if something doesn't work.
It saves me the hassle of having to look for stuff in that damn store!
Ps, the last batch of clothing I got was put together and wrapped in tissue, it was decent looking.

i've never ordered from there before, but i've shopped at their stores
i have an adorable dress from there, but other than that their quality is lacking IMO
i ordered a brown vest sweaterdress and a button came off the FIRST TIME i wore it. the second time i wore it, another came off, and then i realized that POS belongs in the trash.

I noticed a funny smell too! I ordered last year when they opened the Canadian site and they had so much stuff on sale all under $10 so i went a little crazy. The big box arrived beat up & the clothes were all tossed in one huge ball mess. I couldn't believe it! A pair of capris i ordered even had friggin' rust on the zipper! I was so disgusted i threw them out. I have not worn anything that i ordered because they all fit funny and huge but thats what happens when you order online! I always check out their website & they are opening a store 10 minutes away from me soon so i'd prefer to see everything in person! I really hate the fact that Canadians can't order from the US site (because we have our own site) but we have soooo much less on our site!
I order from them ALL the time! The clothes are never folded...they never send me an email confirmation...and this last time I got overnight shipping and when it came in the box was tore open! LAME! I only shop in store now b/c I love love their clothes and they r such good prices!!
My items just shipped out today so it took a total of 5 days to ship 3 items. I guess I should be happy that I got an email shipping notice since a lot of you didn't even get that.

I admit, they do tend to just throw things in there and when my clothes arrive they do arrive really wrinkly, so I end up just washing all of the clothes... For their prices though, I can't complain. Plus, the shipping's free when I order.
I also don't like how long it takes for them to ship out orders. Usually it takes them about 3 days to ship out my orders. I like websites that ship out things within 24 hours (business days).

this is so funny.in store, the SAs literally ball up your stuff in the bags. i always unpackand fold them before i leave the store.
the one time i wanted a new lace dress, i ordered on line so it would not be "shop worn". f21 packed it better than stuff i have gotten from NM online or shop bop.
