Honestly...when you order from clothing online, they may all come from one store and the person who is packing it could careless, therefore they throw it all in a box and have it shipped. It has happened to me before, but not from forever21. I ordered a few shirts from a store and when it arrived, all the clothing was wrinkle and it came from another store in the states. I called them a complained. It's not right for them to do that.

Not right at all! They should fold the clothing then package them for shipping. Not throw them in a box like they are garbage!

F21 GETS their clothes shipped to them like that. They don't even iron their clothes before they hang them up....they def will not fold them nicely when shipping.

I ordered from them before and mine was packed in a huge ENVELOPE! I was amazed they could fit all 4 pcs into it. It was a free shipping so I guess we shdn't be expecting much. All my clothes were nicely floded but came out wrinkled.

This was my experience. I orderded 7 shirts and they all fit in there! I didn't even think it was from them at first because I couldn't imagine them sending it in such a thing.

With Forever21, you get what you pay for... but I truly am impressed w/ their shipping. I don't understand how Forever21 shipped my package via UPS and it arrived the very next day (ground shipping, mind you) while my Urban Outfitters order is taking a week and a half via the same shipper!

I personally don't care whether the clothes are wrinkles or not, and considering that the clothes are at a cheap price, I wouldn't expect much of that.

I would be more worried about the clothes not being made well/not fitting. The wrinkles are the least of my worries, they can be easily steamed out or worst case scenario (to take them to the dry cleaners). I'd be more concerned with the fabric used/construction/made well than wrinkles ANY day!

Forever 21 is a cheap store / brand and maybe the expectations are too high? My sister requests me to buy from there every now and then and I do. Never reflected on their packaging methods but if it keeps the price down for the consumer then why not. It's lower end clothing and I think expectations should be accordingly.

I agree 100%!

I will share one "poor" experience: I ordered some panties that said 100% cotton online (that was the only reason why I got them aside from having a few dollars to spend to take advantage of the $75+ order & get Free Shipping deal). Anyhoo, lo and behold I get them in the mail and the tag says 90% nylon, 10% spandex ...yikes! Not even a thread of cotton in those undies! Talk about false advertisement!!! ...but I thought eh it was 3 bucks and it IS F21. I am not ragging on F21 (in fact I got a couple cute cardis from there recently) -just that I would not expect too much from them. I mean they don't even accept returns of online merchandise at the stores for pete's sake!

Actually, they do. You'll get store credit, but not a refund.
From f21.com:

Returns for Online Purchases At Our Stores :

  1. Your original invoice must be presented at the time of return or exchange.
  2. We are currently unable to process refunds at the stores for any online purchases. For refunds of online-purchased merchandise, you must send by mail to the address provided above.
As for the undies - they also take back undies, provided the tag is still on them. So - hope that helps!

It's prolly based on proximity. I'm in L.A, and I typically get stuff a day or two after I ordered, but Urban takes so long since they typically don't ship from L.A.
