I kind of expected Adele to be somewhere in the top 5, she's had an amazing year!
Yes she has had a good year in terms of album sales but she has cancelled a lot of shows due to laryngitis and she does not endorse products like some of her peers. I think her $18 mill is mostly from album and singles sales.

Oh crap, I completely forgot she cancelled a lot of dates and also had surgery.
