Ha, thanks for the invitation. Maybe I should...I've learned so much about LV since my GF got her Galliera and Kalahari bags. I even know how to decipher the date codes!

Would LOVE to hear from others who try this. I havent yet purchased the Galliera, but this would sure make me more excited to do so!
If anyone's interested I plan to re-do one of the rings this weekend because I'm not happy with the alignment, so I can take pictures as I go through it step-by-step.
Please take pics of the step by step process! I'll be doing this in a week when I get back home. I had the galliera before they did the rings "coating". My marks were terrible! Then they replaced my bag and the marks came back. But since they replaced it they refuse to replace it again. I'm in another state now and was able to talk them into replacing the rings, but guess what...the marks are STILL coming back! The SA had no idea what I was talking about and said I should stop wearing dark jackets and tops!

Sorry I couldn't get around to this over the weekend. I just had too much stuff going on.
But I would say you're the perfect candidate for this. My GF got the rings replaced and the problem came back as well, so I can understand your frustration and disappointment. Now she uses the bag everyday and there's not a single mark. Until LV comes up with a true fix I believe this is the next best thing.
Fantastic! Thanks shutterbug! I have used the invisible shield before and i dont know why i didnt think of this earlier, i purchased lots of vachetta cleaners and protectors so that if i got the marks they could be erased easier without damaging the leather! Thank you Thank you THANK YOU!
