So, I mentioned in my Linea-Metallica bargain find thread http://forum.purseblog.com/balenciaga/not-your-usual-reveal-but-reveal-all-same-839028.html that I was selling my preloved Papyrus RGGH 21 City. Lots of people may think I'm crazy but as much as I love the bag, after having it restored for denim dye transfer I am just too paranoid about getting it dirty! I also found it too heavy (my Mulberry is heavy enough) and I found myself limiting what I carried.
All in all, I have my new preloved linea-metallica, light mulberry and little Ink Box that I love for it's ease of carrying and darker hue and I started wishing my Papyrus was a darker colour. Cue Black City searching!
I now present my 2012 s/s Black RH City! I found the bag on a completed listing on eBay that hadn't sold. It was bought brand new from France and then carried only a handful of times by my Finnish seller - it's in brand new condition. A message and a really friendly exchange later, I paid €800 which is around £675 all in for the bag to be shipped over. 3 days later it's here! A good deal I think just waiting on the Papyrus to sell to recoup funds (I know I'll be sad when it goes).
The leather is from that notoriously bad year and it did throw me off when I first saw the bag. It was so light I thought I had a fake on my hands! However it's been authenticated here and it checks out fine. The seller is also paying for authentication - how sweet is she?! I can't wait to break the bag in and to be honest, whilst it's not a patch on my 2006 Ink leather, I actually love it and can't wait to see it soften!

This is it for a while now... with any luck (Papyrus selling) I should end up with 3 bags for just under £800.
