I sprayed the handles of my Cabas piano years ago with Apple Garde and the one application had prevented darkening. Just sprayed them again recently. I didn't do anything to the Speedy, hence the darkened handles. Not sure how to lighten them so I just leave them be but honestly have not used it in years.Thanks! Handles on the Speedy are a bit worse than yours, I must say! But I got it for a steal, sooo...

So sorry for delay in answering, I didn’t see this post. But yes, it is hair calf on the front camo section. I don’t generally gravitate to his bags, but this one caught my eye, and heart, the moment I saw it.
Taking these pics this morning I just realized I have a lot of bags in the brown family. Blue is probably my favorite bag color but I do find brown to be just as versatile as black.

Thanks for the thread, I have always enjoyed browns! All Coach, with color name most likely, given catalogue pics I have seen, all purchased in the last two years. Clockwise from top right, Ranch bag, circa 1990, mahogany; Patricia’s Legacy, 1996, taupe; Marketing Tote, made in NYC, early mid 80’s, mocha; Berkeley Flap, 1996, mahogany. This photo is actually fairly accurate in representing the various shades.

It did photograph a tad lighter, now that I look at it. The other side, lol has a few stains, that can be seen at a certain angle. It was dirt cheap, all in all. I think of it as my “beater” vintage bag! Every now an then one surfaces in BT in fabulous condition and I am tempted . . .
[emoji7] I love the Ranch bag and the color of the Marketing tote. Who am I kidding, I love everything in this picture.
I highly recommend the Ranch bag. I just got mine recently and love it. For some reason, I like it better than the stewardess.
There are so many styles, in so many colors to like! Ty
I have nothing against the Stewardess, but this completely meets my needs. I would have to trip over a Stewie that was really cheap to buy it.
