I wonder if they can mark things down differently if they are on clearance as supposed to the other stuff? To me it's all clearance- hence the term "outlet"...but, hey what do I know?
The outlets have a computer system that is used to determine what the current price of an item is. So when it comes to clearance items, if they go into the system and type in the item number, it will tell you what the clearance price should be. It's up to the discretion of the managers in the store to decide if they want to offer any additional percents off because of damage, etc. But initially it's in the system, how much the bag should be. Which is why it's so confusing to me that different outlets are charging different prices for the same bag.
