Thanks @880 , @Sadayakko , @A bottle of Red & @waterlily112 for your response! The post was not soldered in...looks like it just came unscrewed. I used a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers and was finally able to screw it back on.You can just contact customer service and send the earrings straight back to their NY headquarter for repair or get them soldered in. I wouldn't send it to a local jeweler since VCA won't service on your earrings once they've been worked on by unauthorized jewelers/agencies. It's not as speedy as dropping them off at the local jewelers but I think the extra wait is worth it since you're dealing with a pave piece and there are issues that you may encounter down the line that need service by VCA - eg. loose prongs, loose stones, etc.
I am now thinking about sending them to be soldered...that was a little too close for comfort. I would be sick if I lost one. Minimally, I will check the posts every time I put them on.
