Faulty earring post

You can just contact customer service and send the earrings straight back to their NY headquarter for repair or get them soldered in. I wouldn't send it to a local jeweler since VCA won't service on your earrings once they've been worked on by unauthorized jewelers/agencies. It's not as speedy as dropping them off at the local jewelers but I think the extra wait is worth it since you're dealing with a pave piece and there are issues that you may encounter down the line that need service by VCA - eg. loose prongs, loose stones, etc.
Thanks @880 , @Sadayakko , @A bottle of Red & @waterlily112 for your response! The post was not soldered in...looks like it just came unscrewed. I used a magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers and was finally able to screw it back on.

I am now thinking about sending them to be soldered...that was a little too close for comfort. I would be sick if I lost one. Minimally, I will check the posts every time I put them on.

Wow I did not know that the posts can be removed and it’s quite shocking to me. Is this a thing with brands of such calibre? I had always assumed that the posts would be a permanent fixture whenever I am buying jewellery. I don’t know how to feel about this 😅 and also a little shocked that it falls upon the consumer, who has paid so much money, to ensure that you can wear your earrings in peace

Now I’m worry about vintage mop earrings.
Ordered mine online and let just say I don’t know how they even sent it out. Have issue with one side and the authenticity card were worn out, stain, and bent. I’m not satisfied with the piece // no it has not been worn as it will waived the whole exchange/refund policy.
I emailed and called right away and now debating whether to do a full refund or exchange. It’s not my first vca piece but it’s my first earrings with them and first time experience ordering online. I had always gotten my vca jewelry in boutique.

So now I’m stressed and wary especially with the experience I just had and reading about what could’ve happened // quite a few people share about soldering / post. Even though I hear and see a lot of positive review online too.
I’m still debating and need to make up my mind soon.
