DH. He got me a Dooney for Xmas 2 years ago, I retired it after 9 months and now Im onto a new one. I feel guilty he spent so much on it because I lusted after it for so long, and then I just stopped using it.

My fiance and mom are the worst... nag nag nag ....and with my mother it always starts with her nagging about the purses and then turns into something totally off topic that has nothing to do with purses... get over it!

Hi,
I'm fairly new to the whole designer bag craze...I think craze is the right word for it...as my bf thinks I've gone crazy! He uses a shopping bag to carry all his work things in! So now I have to hide my bags from him so he won't see how many I've accumulated ;) And I also have special prices that I tell him - like, if a bag cost $1000, in bf terms, that's only $500! Does anybody else have the same issue? Do I really need so many bags? And how much do you tell your family about your spending and/or bag purchasing habits?

Lol- my husband thinks I'm insane. But he just chalks it up to the other weird stuff I do, sighs, and tries to ignore it.

I have to tell him wayyyyy in advance. Like I've been telling him for 6 months that I'm buying a black Chanel flap this summer. Have to warm him up to the cost, so by the time I actually do buy it, he won't assume I've completely lost my mind.

People think I'm crazy for a number of reasons, only one of which is my passion for purses! But I am totally honest with DH about what I buy, how much things cost, etc. As for what everyone else thinks, I don't really worry about it.

My Fiance jokes with me and tells me I have to many, and how in the world I could use all of them @ once, but He really doesn't mind. As long as all of our bills are paid and we're not broke it's okay. Yesterday he actually told me "I understand you've got a 'hobby' collection handbags, and it's something you enjoy doing, I don't mind it, just dont hide it from me when you buy them."

I would worry about my purchases if I had to lie about how much they cost to the people who are important to me.
My parents think spending more than like £50 on a bag is "disgusting and shallow", but they spent crazy money on holidays and their house. We just have different priorities - I rent so I don't need/want a £7000 kitchen.

Soooo yeah all my bags are really good fakes from Ebay
