We may be bag twins. I just ordered mine. Have you seen it in the store? If I really love the suede one, I may return the oxblood one or I may keep both because they are so different, and I've always wanted an oxblood purse. I imagine since the bag is mostly suede it will be lighter than the leather one.
I will definitely post a bunch of pics when I get her! I normally prefer black or darker bags, but I recently bought a roots tribe leather satchel for work and now I'm addicted to that cognac, soft suede look and feel. But my roots is too big for everyday use. I live in Idaho and we're pretty "wild west" around here so I think it will be awesome!
Thanks for saying; it was great to go look at the pics on there. ALSO, this is a bummer; I was debating between the black/python and the suede, but based on pics I saw in this thread of the black/python in a boutique, I didn't want to order it because in those pics the interior is black instead of the cognac suede. But in the Saks pics, it is the cognac. Now I want to order a black one too. Please, someone stop me!!!
Thanks for the tip! I am definitely going to do something to protect it. The fact it is suede bothered me for longevity for sure. On an $800 bag... it kind of makes a difference.
I have only seen the oxblood in the store and I really loved it, too. Like others said, it is more of a dark brown than a burgundy and the contrast with the handles and interior leather is awesome. I probably would have opted for it if I didn't already own an oxblood AW Diego. So I couldn't justify owning TWO oxblood designer bags. You will LOVE the oxblood! I do think it's more interesting looking than the suede.
Thanks for the Nordies tip. It was GREAT to be able to see the bottom of the bag. I was really worried about that, so knowing it's pebbled leather makes me feel a lot better.
Very frustrating indeed. I even opened up a live chat on the Coach website and asked what color is the interior and she said it was the cognac leather on the interior of the side pockets and that the center zipped compartment is black. But that does not match the pictures posted in this thread by the tPFer who saw it in person, nor does it match the Saks stock pictures.It is quite frustrating when the stock photos are incorrect. As far as stopping you from purchasing I will be no help! I ended up using my PCE on one more bag and some goodies that I'll post when it all arrives. Oh my.
