Sigh. I did. Still disappointed.
My thoughts exactly. I like it as a color but I don't know how I would match it with my outfits. It would be nice with jeans and all but with black I think I would look like a bee.
A bee! Hohoho... that made me laugh. But if Mangue looks anything like Jaune, I won't mind looking like a bee!
And you're right, it's looking a lot more like Moutarde than Jaune.
Now, we all know that the color swatches are not always accurate, but I have to say .. so far, lovin' the CUMIN (which IMO will look fab with the Rose Gold HW)!!! Jacynthe is nice too (definitely reminds me of the '07 Bleu Glacier/Periwinkle.

Agreed .. in the swatch, it almost looks like Mimosa .. and from the comparison pics, we can see that it is definitely different than Mimosa. I'm going to ask my S/A if she can provide some better pics and see if she can describe the color better.
I asked a friend who's seen it and sent her a picture I thought sort of looked like jaune. She said in her opinion (and it's just one!) it isn't really, and lacks that sort of brown mustard quality/color. She says think bright, a little more orange in it than some of the yellower pics show. So, who knows?

Thank you Ceejay. I love bleute & Latte.... That color Bleute should be the equivalent of lagoon or what? We haven't heard anything about that color but oh man... it really looks good! I love it!!!!

Hi ladies, would like to share with you these photos I took at the Balenciaga local boutique:
The first picture compares Cassis, Gris Tarmac wallets against Anthracite Iphone case and Coquelicot coin purse.
The second picture compares Red Thulian and Mangue wallets, with different hardwares.
Note that Cassis IRL looks much better than shown on photo, the colour much deeper and more vibrant. Nearly bought something in this colour but the colour is just too "wintery" for someone who lives in Bangkok here, plus the fact that I am still not officially out of my self imposed ban.

Am I considered breaking my ban? I was told that I had a $500 store credit by my S/A that I had to spend within these 2 months. So initially I went to the store with the Bleu Cobalt wallet in mind but it was all sold out. So I went home with the continental ( zip around) wallet instead:

It's really gorgeous! Is this the wallet style that replaced the Compagnon?
