I’d say go for something a lot sturdier for everyday wear. I’d worry about accidentally breaking any chain that is too thin. My fave right now is the Tiffany ball chain, and you can add whichever charms you want.

I second something like this too.

I've got a Tiffany tag and a pug charm (from a local jeweler) as my everyday go-to necklace. I got the Tiffany tag for my 16th (9 years ago!) and it's held up so well. I never take it off so it's on when I'm out, working out, sauna, etc. 1536420423256.jpg

Budget?
I’d recommend yellow/white/rose gold for longevity, and there’s plenty of sterling silver that you can get at reasonable princes that’s not Tiffany. Eg Karen Walker makes some beautiful pieces

I've really been liking Astley Clarke for everyday wear - some beautiful pieces at a range of price points.

I find the Atlas collection easiest to wear when it comes to Tiffany - some lovely understated pieces.

I never take off my Cartier 1895 necklace unless I'm cleaning it. It's very comfortable to wear, and is the perfect piece that can be layered or worn alone. It has two rings too so you could change the length if you wanted it longer or shorter depending on your mood or outfit. I've also got a Tiffany's mini double heart which I find to be such a cute everyday piece as well!
