I wish I knew what she said in the end before sneaking out the door. "Thanks for everything, I guess I'll go and leave you to it..." I wish Fred would've given her a kiss on the cheek and everyone gave her a round of applause but maybe this is exactly how she wanted it but in the end got emotional.

Glad to hear her sister Princess Benedikte was outside the door waiting for her to accompany her back to her palace.

Edit: Just saw it again. She said "God save the King" before leaving the Council of State. Must be an emotional moment for her; seeing her son become king, leaving her position of 52 years and remembering that 52 years ago her father died on this day.
