Crazy Nike collabs are always SUPER sought after. People pay thousands of euros to get specific shoes. And for resellers the LV x Nike shoes are the easiest way to make some good money. Buy for 2000€, sell for double or triple the amount.
I can tell you, maybe 1% of all the people who copped those shoes yesterday will keep those. Other 99% will resell them for sure.

They should have used a completely different system instead of this raffle **** where you compete against millions of bots. But LV doesn’t care as long they get their money
Thank you for explaining.

On to more positive things, is someone getting something of the July releases? I’m looking at the Alma in burgundy and the Rosalie Empreinte, but I’d like that in hotpink.

Only some small things form the Garden collection, pre ordered the silver cardholder and the white square 90! It's very quiet for a while now with unboxings and orders of new collections. I feel like the unboxing thread is getting less and less pages each month.

@Cathindy you didn’t warn me about Oia :nogood:. I wasn’t expecting a 1hr queue to see the blue dome roofs :wtf:. It was nuts, with people trying to get the perfect IG shot. It was like a full on fashion photo shoot up there . After that fiasco you had the craziness of trying to find a spot to see the sunset. I thought getting up at 3am to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat was challenging, but I’ve never experienced anything like yesterday. Hundreds of people, police trying to keep things in order with people climbing on precarious walls and roofs of buildings to get the “perfect” sunset shot. The only place I’ve seen so overrun with tourists is Venice. I can tick Oia off my to do list, but wouldn’t do it again .

The people that have spent thousands of Euros to stay at the apartments around there must be so frustrated. Some couldn’t get to their apartments easily or get luggage through because of all the people blocking the little walkways. Guests have to put up with all that traffic all day, 365 days of the year. With all that said, the views are amazing. I’ll post some pics later. Oh, I also left my phone at the supermarket. I went back 45mins and the lovely owners had found it .

Ah I remember that you posted about the ch and the square 90, both are gorgeous!
Yes, I noticed that too that the unboxing thread gets quieter. I wonder if it’s because of LV‘s constant price increases or the unstable situation worldwide or both. Or people wait for other collections.

So apparently in China it was a different sort of raffle. You had to answer a number of challenge questions (like how many designs of AF1 x LV there were etc), and once you got the answers correct (they don't penalize you for wrong answers, you just keep trying till you get the right answers), then select the model and size you want, and then LV will inform you of whether you were successful on 24 July. They really should have done this for every market, feels like it can at least help to weed out the bots a little?

Hahahaha, omg yesssss:lol: I'm so sorry, I totally feel you, Oia was for sure a fiasco for us too  we went there for sunset, but oh boyyyyy what was I wrong. I have one cute picture of myself in front of the sunset, had to wait for a bit to make it but then the crowds really came in and we decided to go the exact opposite direction, away from everyone else because I got crazy from all the people :giggle: and that's where I made the picture of my PSP on my pf! I loved it, the colors where beautiful and absolutely no people where there. I never even made it to the blue domes, the row was just madness:lol:

I was shocked to see people with strollers and baby's go up there for the sunset! And people on the roofs of houses, total madness:shocked: It's better to reserve a table for dinner at one of the restaurants or to go for sunrise! But I was good, I saw the last minutes of the sunset from the bus station and then we quickly went in the bus before the crowd also decided to go back:lol: let's say it was quite the experience! Hahaha

Hmm I wonder if that really makes a difference? I've read that people have bots only for entering the buying process, so once a bot gets through the waitroom the person takes over again to fill in all the data. So then the questions will not make a difference I think? But I don't know anything about bots so not sure :D

It would make so much sense if LV would need the people to log in into their my LV Account (with at least one bought product) and then enter into the waiting room, that could have been a much more safer option
But as @Emphosix already said, Lv doesn't care!
