I'm a collection behind, but I went and compared the SITC Kirigami and 100ml Sunrise Pastel case. The 100ml case has beautiful glow which doesn't come out well on camera. The colour way is different to other SP pieces, I think they all differ slightly eg. 100ml seemed to have more greens than Kirigami. @bellababe I agree it makes a beautiful display piece!

My Daily Pouch also made it out in my tote. I remember now why I love pouches so much. I used to carry them heaps before WFH and when I flew a lot. It's going to be so fun coming with me back to the office and maybe the Kirigami and / or 100ml car might join us

Such great pops of colour in a bigger bag! @Bumbles you are right that it's a great option if you can't decide on SP/MF .

I ran out of camera space but I tried on the Stardust MPA in pink, it was my first time trying on the pink and seeing it in person... SWOOON... but it might be too candy bright for me.. I will wait for the SLGs to be in store here! Wish the pink cles was available in more countries

Love to see your shoplogs!! How fun they still have the Kirigami in store while it's not available on the website. The fragrance case is very cute, I still have this one on my mind. The colors are just everything :girlsigh:

Morning my favourite ladies and @Emphosix,
Oh what a weeks I had! First my daughter was really sick with 41 temperature for 7 days and then both me and hubby got covid (for the first time). 3 weeks later we finally (hopefull) recovered.
Not sure I mentioned before but we are building a dream house in a village on the seaside (there are only 2 houses where people are actually live, the rest are summer houses). I thought we will move there in X years (more like 10) but apparently my husband decided to do it quicker (in 2 years time). So now I am thinking, why am I buying all my luxuty goods :confused1::angel: Where would I wear it? Hubby is laughing that I will wear LV’s for mushroom picking and Chanels for blueberries (since my Chanel are smaller):lol:. I am actually terrified, not sure if I could live in a village. I spent my whole adult life in London so that would be a life changing experience but in reality having a dream house 8 minutes driving from the beach with swimming pool sounds like a dream. Does anyone here live on a countryside and can share your experience?

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter and you and hubby having covid. Hopefully you all feel better again:hugs:

Your dream house sounds amazing:loveeyes: but I can also imagine it all feels so sudden and fast for you. I have experience the other way around, I grew up in the countryside and when I was in my early twenties I moved to the second biggest city of the country. Honestly, I can't wait to move back to a smaller village again  I miss the space, the nature and the silence. I realize I never really valued that untill now I live in a loud and busy city for the past years. I would love to have a house near the beach for my dog, I see how much fun she has in the garden and the nature my parents are living and I can only give her a small balcony. I think I would not really worry about where to bring your bags, maybe you can build a bag room in the new house so you can at least look at them everyday! :girlsigh: That would be a life goal for me :giggle:

Im sorry to hear that your daughter and the whole family was hit by Covid. I hope now you all are back on horses again   Takes time to recover , so you need to give ur body a break

Sounds sooo exiciting with the dream house in the village  I guess its pretty normal when you started to have family ( kids)we just need to changed our prio and preferences ? More space, fresh air and most of all , more safe ?

We live in a country site , our closest store is 4 km away. Our village is only 500 ppl , but we do have school , and kindergarten. Our beach is like 2,5 km away down the road , so during the good weather we usually took the bike and enjoying the good weather by the beach  We only moved to this house when we have our first son. Before that, we lived in a big cities of all of our adult life so yes, moving from city with 6 mills inhabitant ( Bangkok, Thailand) to this village in Denmark was a huge cultural shock for both of us. We only lived in apartments before , let alone owning a house with 1000sqm garden/ yard. That was hard.. adding newborn into the equation. But we love it, the slow pace, fresh air, sounds of birds ,good neighbors and now the kids can just running around in the street / biking to school safely , something I would trade our 45th floor apt in Bangkok in a heartbeat

But yes, the luxury goods maybe not being used so much when I need to get a milk in our local store  So moos of the time , I use my collections for work or parties with friends

Edit : I added our “beach” picture here

Sorry to hear you had such difficult weeks, but happy to hear you are all better now!
Living in a village by the sea must be wonderful, especially with kids. The slow pace and clean air, the colours and smells, it’s all better for well-being. I‘m sure there’s a town nearby where you could wear your bags for going shopping or dining with your hubby or friends. And you can still go to London for a day of shopping and restaurants or is it too far away?
It sound so exciting and wonderful! :loveeyes:Congrats on your dream house!

First of all, glad to hear you are all doing fine again! Covid still is a severe disease, though one might forget it a little bit as its summer now and almost no more valid rules exist…

Regarding your beach house:
What a dream I can only say! I would die to have a house near the sea… :girlsigh:
We live in a small village, about 1.000 people, in our house with garden. (Sadly no sea or lake around). But I can confirm - like the other sweet ladies here already did - its a wonderful and calm life within nature. Never would I exchange with a city life. I work in city, we sometimes travel to big cities, but Im always glad when I can leave again after few days.
And you know what, nevertheless I can carry my bags whenever I want, to work, to weekend trips, to travel etc. ;) You still have this life on the countryside
By the way, you have your bags for your own pleasure, not for others
So it doesnt matter when you wear them, wether half of London is seeing you or just the guy in the local bakery. So you can bring some glamour to the countryside! :giggle:

Sorry to hear your daughter was sick and you and your husband caught covid . Glad you have all fully recovered and are feeling better. Congrats on your dream home . Sounds so exciting. Farming in Chanel and LV sounds hilarious, but why not do it in style . Is there a main town/village close by that you can drive to that has shops, pubs, restaurants etc.

Thank you so much for all the comments. You are so lovely  We actually not only moving from a big city (London) but also to another country (Poland) but I believe it is a good decision. I cannot wait to have more space, quiet (I live not far away from Heathrow Airport so you can imagine the difference), swimming pool, beach close by etc Still not sure where I will wear my handbags as am planning to work from home but will have a display cabinet for sure

I'm sorry to hear you were all sick with Covid, what a scary and nasty time you've had. Glad you're better, take it easy recovering.

Very excited about your big move, though! I get what you mean, it's a huge shift from 10 years to 2 years! And different country, too! But I think you'll love it! I lived in rural for short stints that added up to about 2-3 years (Cairns was one of them and felt less rural with all the international tourists and cruise ships but it's rural). I loved the country! Miss the peace, the sweet strong fresh air, the birds singing, the nature.. I've also lived a block from the beach elsewhere, and that was an awesome time, used to do beach walks nearly everyday and when WFH could go for a dip in the ocean or hunt shells during breaks or after work. Your kids will love it too! The city can be very distracting.

With luxe you can still use your collection! I personally didn't use big luxe bags when I was in the tiny rural places, being Asian I already stood out in town and I didn't want to add to that. (Cairns would have been less of a problem given the tourists.) But that's a personal thing and you'll know for yourself how comfortable you are using a particular bag for a daily errand. And you'll definitely still use them for city trips, travel, seeing family and friends, special occasions.. list is endless! I would use them as nice displays for WFH too  they also dress up a simple casual outfit very nicely . My wardrobe was definitely more carefree when i lived rural and it was fun, an LV or other bag would just add a nice accent to the dressed-down outfit!

Love to see your shoplogs!! How fun they still have the Kirigami in store while it's not available on the website. The fragrance case is very cute, I still have this one on my mind. The colors are just everything :girlsigh:

Thank you! This perfume case is pretty too, it's in stores here. The Kirigami has been pretty good here, at one point when the site was working, I think I saw about 6 different stores in the country with this Kirigami in stock!
