If you have too many returns you can be banned. I would say 10 returns in a year could be problematic especially if they out weigh what you’ve spent/kept. The odd one here and there should be ok.I’ve never returned/exchanged a bag back, since this is the first time I’ve noticed something wrong with it right away.
My Pochette Métis had scratches on the back pocket zipper, but I first noticed later, and at that time, I just decided to live with it as it was so hard to score one.

As mentioned it seems quite a few of the DA Alma’s have the bubble issue. Also I didn’t realise the trim was not vachetta. It’s a white/creamy leather.

My LE Alma BB Malletage Denim is happy to welcome her too, and I've been playing and dressing them up with bag charms
Another plus is, because of it's cream color and the glazing of the handles and shoulder strap being black, the Speedy 20 strap actually looks good with it. Super delighted to have her in my collection.
