Yep I too don’t mind the material, I just always think people’s first are usually canvas! I didn’t go for leather until quite recently actually, but I’m generally not a mini bag person. I carry too much junk around with me :lol::lol::lol:

Mine was the Totally PM bag which is now discontinued! I still have it, great bag and so roomy!

Im ordering Large Boy calfskin black in black metal hardware:biggrin: Was in the big city Friday to drop off my Noe for reparation and passed by Chanel boutique might as well to see what they have . BIG MISTAKE ! It was always my dream bag , the Boy . And finally I dare to pull the trigger since now I have some fund for it and see it in RL.IWas actually aiming for the Boy but doesnt really fits with my posture so I choose the Large Boy instead . The SA told me that it was made to order ? I dont know much about Chanel as much as LV to argue so I just paid and hope to Chanel gods that I can have it in 3 months:blush:

I know! High 5!! Wow I love the boy but never had the chance to try in store...not sure why..other distractions...but my Chanel HG is the 19...one day! I am surprised it's made to order...but you secured the price now so we look forward when it all comes!

Mine was a Popincourt Haut circa 2009. I don’t recall any conscious thought about whether or not I would purchase more. As most have mentioned before me, it is a slippery slope once you have started down the collecting road - welcome to the family :heart:

That’s also actually my fear too, going with all my casual cloths and as a mum into a chanel store, this would feel so awkward, while going into the Hermes store I’ve had no problems :lol:

My Popincourt Haut has been in repair since July of last year. They told me that it would be done by October. We are now heading into March. :lol: Luckily, I have other bags that I can use.

Then you must know how I felt when I received a text message from boutique telling my Chanel jumbo was back from repair. And I was at work, where I came by bike and was wearing my Haglöf outdoor clothes and Sorel boots (best you can wear in Finnish winter..). I wanted to get my bag as soon as possible. And I was only 2km away from the boutique.. So, there I went after work to collect my bag And happily took my huge Chanel paper bag and drove my bike back home. It really didn’t feel right! And I was so embarrassed.

Oh my that has taken a while - but it will be lovely once you get it back. In fact it will be so long it will feel like a new bag, not just because the vachetta will be new, but because you will barely remember owning it in the first place if they take too much longer :lol:. I still love the zipper pull on that piece!

I think that's why it's taking so long. They're having a hard time getting those two ball things on the zipper pull. Only the Popincourt has them, so it's hard for them to find that part.

Wow, I didn't realise they were a hard part to find! I scored PH late last year in fantastic condition. Question, if you don't mind me asking... how much did they charge you for repair on it?

Mine was the Cluny BB in May last year.... it's definitely a slippery slope, I now own a Poppincourt Haut and a Croisette, and a few SLG's, bandeaus etc :giggle:
