A note to those looking for the MPA. I've just read on the louis vuitton multipochette aka scam bag thread that new company policy states to purchase this bag you must now purchase another item. Could this be the reason for the recent cancellation of online orders?

I had read this same rule by another poster on the thread last week, but I thought maybe it was a one off, but it seems not at as @RVM has also just posted about this. According to one poster apparently this rule is due to the bag's popularity and to discourage resellers. I can't believe this is legal and somehow does not violate trading standards. As in effect LV are saying they have the bag available to sell to you, but will not, unless you purchase something else. I'm not sure if this just in store or applies to online, but the fact that this new rule is verbally mentioned to customers and not written on the website and likely not printed on any receipt either, this is purely an upselling technique to force customers to spend more, otherwise why not state this new 'company policy' in writing. Probably because some customers understandably would not be happy about it.

It‘s unbelievable of LV if this were true!!! >.< I don‘t even care for this bag anymore!!! Now I‘ve managed to order the PA (but it‘s not been shipped unfortunately:( ), I‘d rather stalk the website for the mini PA and then a nice strap to DIY my own MPA instead :D

New comments on this topic shows this ‘rule’ doesn’t just apply to the MPA, but other htf pieces as well, where SA’s have held back pieces on the proviso you buy something else. Certainly unethical at the very least. Don’t blame you to mock up your own. I think a few Youtubers have done the same.

Omg!!! Are they trying to play the Hermès game (with B/K bags) or something? >.<

But how are you supposed to buy something at the same time as the MPA online? Have something else in your bag as you stalk and hope they are both available when the MPa is there?? What a mess!

Exactly! You have to either buy something that's in stock you may not particularly want or be in the hope that another item you do want is in stock when the MPA is available. As mentioned previously, I'm not sure if this rule applies to online purchases and maybe once a proper restock happens, the MPA will be available to purchase properly and orders not cancelled. There's been no replenishment of available stock of this bag to ship since May. If it's popped up it's been just one or two. We need a Nano Speedy kind of restock.

You’d like to think that’s going to be due since a few other HTF bags have been generously restocked lately.

not sure if this regulation applies for ONLINE purchasing.

If it does, retour the extra item and keep the Multi PA

I was working night shift the other night and it was pretty quiet. Was playing with US site, was able to add two pink multi pochette and they were in my shopping bag for a long time.. was so frustrating!!
I was able to pay multi pochette this week, but pretty sure it’ll be cancelled cause I’m not even able to see the status of my order. So for the next opportunity I’ll just keep that one bandeau in my shopping bag just in case
