Ladies, I have a new found respect for people who can tie a twilly/bandeau. It's just taken me 40 minutes to wrap a twilly round my speedy handles and I STILL can't get it perfect but it's acceptable for me and I lost my patience now

Of course dear, I wouldn’t write things I have no idea about The gold-tone hardware on the most of my pieces (SLGs and even bags like Speedies) such as zipper pools, buttons and rings was scratched when I received them. The button on my Felicie was not only scratched but even rubbed when I got it, although the bag was in brand new condition besides this. A couple of months ago I did an extensive research on this and the shared experience of the TPF members confirmed the same observation. There usually are small imperfections such as scratches, so the question is whether it bothers you and you want to (and can based on the limit) search for a better piece or not and then just keep it.

Ok. I may have missed this post and didn’t know it was a fairly common
observation. Most of my purchases have silver hardware so that could be it too. Well good to know. I can accept some imperfections but it depends what they are and how bad.

I have used the one I had before this one, the Damier graphite and I loved it!! But I don’t have the heart to use this blue one because I want it to stay nice and new for as long as possible. It’s quite htf and I probably won’t be able to score it again .
