Hi ladies! Just wondering if you could help me, I’m stuck between wanting to return this and just being glad that I even got it... so I ordered the key pouch and got it a few days ago, after hunting for a while, and I ADORE it. But there’s scratches on the pull bit and the hardware (attached pics). Should I just be happy that I scored one? I’ve never had this issue before...now that I have it in my hands, I don’t want to let it go even if she isn’t perfect. Or am I overreacting?

it is a really big scratch, go to the store and let them replace it or return it and order a new one!

I think you should return it! Key pouch mono is atb quite often so you could score another one very soon pls stay tune for atb notifications from others in this thread...good luck finding the perfect one that‘ll make your heart sing!!!

I wouldn’t except scratched hardware. This is no longer htf so I’d return and order another one that you’re entirely happy with.

Scratches are normal on the LV hardware, especially on more affordable pieces. I would keep if it doesn’t bother you.

Really? I’ve never had scratched hardware on pieces I’ve bought. I know scratches will come with use but not brand new out the box.

Congrats on getting your key pouch! The scratch would bother me so I would call CS and see if you can exchange it or you could go to the store and have them replace the zipper pull bit. Sorry that it wasnt perfect for you after hunting for so long!

Twinning on the blue cardholder I have used mine a couple of times and it’s a really useful piece. I hope to use it more when we’re back to normal times.

Of course dear, I wouldn’t write things I have no idea about The gold-tone hardware on the most of my pieces (SLGs and even bags like Speedies) such as zipper pools, buttons and rings was scratched when I received them. The button on my Felicie was not only scratched but even rubbed when I got it, although the bag was in brand new condition besides this. A couple of months ago I did an extensive research on this and the shared experience of the TPF members confirmed the same observation. There usually are small imperfections such as scratches, so the question is whether it bothers you and you want to (and can based on the limit) search for a better piece or not and then just keep it.
