I agree with @Francesca1504 about trying to get another one. As suggested I would send pics to CS to find out if these slits/cuts are defective or intentional as there seems to be some inconsistencies regarding this. The old style PAs definitely don’t have these. I don’t know if the PA DA has them. Anyone who has bought a DA recently maybe to shed light on this.

Oh I'm sorry I feel like I've ruined it for you now . It's up to you. I would try and get another one if I were you just to compare but remember there is no guarantee that the next one will be any better. If you didn't notice it at first, then it's something that you need to decide if you can live with it . Is it really noticeable when you use the bag?

Nah it's ok I promise .
It's not noticeable but we all know that cracked canvas is unacceptable for a new unused piece.

Maybe it is normal. I don't know. But it doesn't look good in my LV-book. I'll send them a message. Thanks @beautycase .

This is common with some PMs cracking in this area with the stress on the canvas from continually opening and closing the flap. Have you asked LV to swap for a new one?
