I have all three colors! The fjord bolide is maroon fonce, the togo bolide is ebene and the dogon wallet is in chocolate togo.

If we are talking strictly about BOXCALF, there are TWO dark browns: one is "Chocolat" and the other is "Marron Foncé". If you see them close to each other, Chocolat is a warmer brown (i.e. it has a hint of red to it) while MF is a cool brown, very much like Ebene in other leathers.... But the same colour can vary a tiny bit, from one batch of dye to the next: I have a Chocolat Box Kelly and a Chocolat Box Birkin, the Birkin is from this year and the Kelly from last year; if you look at them side by side in certain lights, the Birkin is a fraction darker than the Kelly....I mentioned it to my SA, and she confirmed that the same colour can vary slightly, besides the different batches of dye, also different hides (of the same leather) can take colour differently....
Ebene doesn't come in BOX, but as I said above, it's the equivalent of MF in Box! HTH

Now I am confused. Here is a picture of my chocolat togo birkin, and what I thought was my Ebene whitebus. What color do you think the whitebus is?? I am now thinking the whitebus is marron fonce or chocolat?? so hard to get a good pic. This was the best one out of a series that I took. IRL, I think they look pretty similar. The stitching almost looks the same too.

hermesmonkey, from my computer screen, your whitebus looks like Ebene. You may want to check with your SA. Marron Fonce only comes in certain skins, and hence it's easy to identify if you have the skin cum colour combi.
Is is still true that Cafe ONLY comes in Clemence? And in the same category of grainy leather, Chocolate comes on Togo?
Good point Mrs.Sparkles! It was the first time I put them together next to each other and started to think OMG, I have two chocolat bags.
That being said, it's all brown to me!

HarleyNemma, the whitebus is a great bag. The only downside is when I travel, it's not a good travel bag...everything falls out!! I don't see them around very much..they are v understated and quite lovely. I like the smaller ones too.
