All the recent "Ergo love" on this forum inspired me to move into one of my all-time favorite bags, the XL Mahogany Pleated Ergo 12236 - this bag is so beautiful, light-weight, and comfortable to carry!

Love this one, katev, especially with your purse charm! I really love the big jewel!

Thanks! I had a hard time finding a fob that looked good with this bag. It is so streamlined and classic that I wanted something that looked rich but not "too much" and finally decided that the purple snaphead fob 92334 was the perfect compliment to my mahogany pleated Ergo.

This purse charm is a wonderful design of classic elegance. I imagine you can use it on many bags.

Adding my new to me natural vachetta XL Ergo to the club. Thanks to @houseof999 for finding it.

The 2007 Ergo 11285 I bought from Mercari came in and it’s a wonderful bag. The seller was so nice! Its only flaw was an ink stain on the striped lining and I made quick work of that with a little alcohol on a swab. Gave it a quick wipe-down and light conditioning and we’re good to go!

Looks great! And welcome to the Ergo Revival Club!

Does anyone with the XL use an organizer inside? I have this one for my giant Chelsea Champlain tote that fits and it is light weight since this bag is already heavy. It helps keep the shape of the bottom and sides too. Can you tell I want to carry it so bad? Wish the weather would cooperate. All I can do is take it out and look/fondle it.

That's a good idea; I tend to use a long softsided makeup case but this would make it easier to find things. I'm forever digging.

If they made a "raincoat" bag for the vachetta Ergo like they do for that Fendi that would be helpful, but then I'd still worry about your straps.
