Black Lussac & wallet

I bought the black bag & the Toledo was a gift in the late 80's and I never used them. Both have gold hardware. The wallet was used for about a week. I just couldn't bring myself to use them cuz I love them so much...crazy, I know.

I've got petit noe,Toledo around 1996, didn't want this colour initially. Recently brought her to LV shop and SA told me it was discontinued and it looks beautiful ^__^.

Just thought I'd give this thread a friendly :bump:
I read on the main LV forum in a thread about epi colors, that grenade and red will be discontinued. I am so :crybaby:to hear red is going. I was under the impression that red and black were both permanent colors. I know they had changed the red with the new red but still it was red, how can they possibly discontinue such a classic color? I wonder if the newer colors just overshadow it and it's production fell and they don't feel they need to keep red permanent. I'd love to hear people's thoughts on as to why they think LV would discontinue such a beloved classic color. I feel like I'm losing a friend knowing that it won't be in production any longer.:confused1:

Rubis Red is the the red, its as the color implies a ruby red, and unofficially I have heard pink...Last year was all about purple, this year seems to be about pink, Epi, Denim and Vernis

The new red to replace the existing Red will be a deeper crimson that is expected to become available in April or May (subject to change). No news yet on what goods will be offered in this new colour. Cassis is still a current color, however, the Grenade is no longer being made.

This is such a great great informative thread!

So rubis red eh? Sounds like will be nice. Im now excited to see that!
but pink epi? :wtf: i'm not sure how well that will look with their current collection of bags.

Epi Bags are mostly serious and refined, something pink isnt. Pink is such a juvenile color, honestly speaking and no pun intended... Maybe it will look cute on some bags, or SLGs, but idk.... I think Grenade was a much better color than the bubblegum pink I'm imagining.
