Engagement Rings- What does yours look like?

My new setting redo, my old setting was giving me problems and I decided to ditch ANYTHING micropave + halo for good. This setting is very me now. And the "finger presence" and wow factor is amazing! Highly recommend this setting!

I believe the baguettes are F/G and VS1/VS2. I *THINK* in total the baguettes are a little over .30ct? The main stone is 1ct.

Love the simplicity and beauty of your set. It really shines through.

^ Thank you everyone! What's amazing was I did not pay a dime for this new setting. It was an even exchange from the halo but this one has so much more bling power!

Halos and micro paves are sparkly but they're a "collection" of small diamond sparklies, this is like WOW 1 center and 2 beautiful sparkly + large baguettes.

My bedroom really has too much yellow light so I hope this is a better picture?

The balance of your e-ring and wedding band is perfect. I have two celebration rings and both are channel-setting. So I want to have a shared-setting band ring like yours. Is it 2.2mm or wider?

I tried on over 3 carats at the store, the setting looked a bit chunky and too high, but yours looking just elegant on your hand! Congratulations!

-1.4 Round brilliant cut (with tiffany 6 prong style)
with 10 x .02 - D colored - excellent cut - IF diamonds on the sides (mirco pave because the diamonds are so tiny)
-EGL - USA diamond cert
- ideal/ Excellent cut
- F color
- VVS2
- total carat weight - 1.6
- ring size 6.5 - 6.75

Can't figure out how to attach pics....

if you look on the "message" of your reply to thread
you'll see a little paper clip beside an "A"
click on that paper clip... it'll say "attachments"
then a window will pop open and say "Upload File from your Computer"
and then you just browse your computer and then attach =)

is blue nile recomended? i'm interesting on their collection, but still afraid to buy online because considering the price against the risk, the quality of the diamond and the shipment to asia...

Hi--as a retail expert (editor and black belt in shopping) that was the first place I suggested my now-fiance look--and he indeed purchased my stone and setting there. Better deal than anything in the diamond district--BEAUTIFUL ring (see my pix)--my future husband is not only a loving generous man, but a brilliant Ivy League MBA--wouldn't have it any other way! It's a 2.5 carat center stone--better than I had even imagined (he designed the band--love him and it!!)
