Not surprising. These changes always do unless someone more exciting is announced to be the replacement.

Any ideas as to who will replace Emma?

I think Emma ruined Mulberry (not all worth is monetary) and the damage has been done. I do have a few Hill-era bags (Lily, Del Reys big and small) but they are on the more tame end of the Emma spectrum.
Under Monsieur Ex-Hermes Guillon, although I hope it will lose the self-conscious wackiness, it will become completely unrecognisable from Roger Saul's original English pastoral vision. It may produce more classic bags which are more to my taste but I'm pretty sure they'll be way outside my budget.

Emma might be getting out at the right time for her reputation, given the recent profit warnings. Their massive growth had to end sometime, and if its going the way we think it is, it's possible profits may continue to fall. They're potentially selling less bags and it's only partially mitigated by the price rises. why not go when everyone thinks you're responsible for the success, than presiding over what might be viewed as a decline?
I am willing to replace Emma Hill. I am a middle aged middle income lady from Tunbridge Wells! No, not the right type of person, apparently!
Hahaha! Perhaps I could partner up with you as a 20 year old Psychology student? No?
Another oldster here - Jon Pertwee, and classic Congo for me!
Totally agree, most of the bags in my collection are from when she was under the helm (excluding mabel & bays). It's definitely down to Mulberry repositioning themselves as a luxury brand. I wish them the best of luck but hope they don't take themselves too seriously (but I think they will)I loved a lot of her designs as the older mulberry styles (except bays) were not for me.
I did not agree with the use of fur on last year's catwalk either but I love lily and daria which are her styles.
The disagreement due to operational and creative differences interests me especially if she does go to coach.
Have mulberry priced her out as well? Haha.
Anyways I think she did a great job, I loved the quirkiness and sense of humour so I am sad to see her go.

It's so true, they'd be stupid to get rid of those and I'd think there would be a massive uproar if they did.Once the new person doesn't get rid of the Bayswater I will be ok....
Or the medium lily![]()
