I'm not OP but I was waiting for someone to do a comparison shot. This was really helpful. I like Plomb but in this instance, Graphite just sings to me.

I will say that I always wanted a black Birkin, but I was offered a Prunoir, and the color is way more soft IMO. My Prunoir Birkin really changes with the light (reads brown, purple, navy, black), and I find that it is way more versatile than black. I don't think I'd ever need a black one now.

this +1 i got indigo and i also have a graphite 35 phw....i'll never never want or need black! i personally would love graphite with ghw....it's incredibly versatile and why i prefer it to black!

Graphite w/ghw is divine! That said, get it only if you LOVE it...otherwise wait for your black!

Love indigo and graphite as they can look black but are not - perfect excuse to get the same bag in different sizes without having all of them in same color [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I'm still waiting for graphite though. Are they back this season?

My graphite is M in box....but I've seen a few posts recently...I'm thinking yes, it's back....curious what stamp the bag in this thread from OP is too?

Hi Everyone:

My SA has presented me with a B35 in GRAPHITE with gold hardware. He said I have 24 hours to decide. I'm totally tortured because I had my heart set on a darker color with silver hardware but I was finally offered this after almost a year of waiting.

I looked online and I can't tell the exact shade of the picture. I'm scared the color will be putty. I'm desperately hoping someone can post a picture of their Graphite Birkin next to Black Birkin or Black Jeans. Can someone save the day????

Here is a photo of my graphite birkin ghw next to my black birkin phw. Thw ghw brings out more richness (rather than stark grey) of the graphite...next to the black/compared...it looks more brown but on its own it is def not brown...very very gorgeous mysterious grey with ghw it is stunning! I definitely prefer it over my black birkin!

Plomb is almost black, vvv close to black... Graphite is "lighter" by comparison, it is a true gray and is alot more interesting imo... Not great at describing colors others can chime in?

Plomb has been described as "matte black". It is black with an undertone of grey and just the slightest shadow of brown. It is LOVELY as an alternative to black that many will think is black. Graphite is dark grey, a very clean grey with little undertone. It is also LOVELY, but it's definitely grey and not black. I love them both. A graphite bag is AWESOME and less seen than black.

However, if you truly prefer PHW, hold out. I have sold every GHW bag I have bought except a few colors/leathers that just sing with gold (like Rouge H box calf and cerf) - so for me HW is a dealbreaker now.
