Hello! I have a Botkier bag from ~2010/2011ish that is made of snake print embossed cow leather.
As you can see, some of the embossed texture and color has lifted and peeled away. The embossed bits seem to have a glazed finish, but now some of the matte finish with no/less color is showing from underneath.
The scale embossing still remains even if the glazed printed finish has come off. Is there any hope of dyeing or painting a pattern with a leather coloring product on the bald spots so it looks less bald? Obviously won't get the glazed finish and exact pattern back but it's so patchy looking in some parts and just wondering if there's anything to do other than accept it haha.
Thanks!
