I want to let everyone know that the new Edie 42 has a little problem. Those extra leather strips that hang tear very easily. Very thin leather. I finally cut them off today and am waiting to hear what Coach will do. Just a heads up!

I had a dreamer 36 arrive with a torn leather strip, I sent it back and reordered. No problem so far on the new one, edie, or tote I have.
Why did you cut them though? I slip off the knots on my Edie if I'm out with my 1 year old so she doesn't try to chew or play with them then tie them back on when we get home.

Two strips were torn, and I decided that it would happen to the rest. They seem to get caught in some things like the passenger seat when I drive or some unknown places on airplanes where this originally happened. The bag still looks great. Coach offered to repair them, but I'm not convinced that will help. I really don't miss the strips. I'm so glad you don't have a problem!
