I bought the plain black Edie 42. I am getting it tomorrow and am so excited. I am praying it comes in perfect condition.

How long do the long tassels hang from your Edie? Like on the plum they are only tied at the very top of where the leather braiding starts. I'm not sure I'm tall enough to be able to wear the black one if they hang a lot lower. My boutique didn't have this one in stock for me to try on in store.

I caved and ordered this one as well, arrived today and I love it!! It has more long tassels than even my dreamer, do they annoy you at all? Thinking of maybe removing a few.

I think it’s odd that they used gold hardware when it looks like the rivets on the plum Edie are gunmetal or something like it. Why mix the metals?

A lot of bags this season are mixed metals. Rivets are black coated and match the black leather braiding. My dreamer is black hardware with brass studs at the ends of the tassels, same for my tote.Black edie 42 that arrived today has a brass rams head attached and rest of hardware is black. A few bag charms I've bought recently are also mixed metals.

Yay, congrats!!! It’s an amazing bag. I am 5’7 and they do not bother me. I did think about removing the very bottom ones just bc there are so many. But aftet using it I decided to just leave them.
