Wow! That was quick. Someone bought it and used it a time or two then decided they didn't like it? Or maybe it's a bag that was used in a promotion, photograph session, etc? I've seen bags like that on ebay for sale.

I think this is a great bag, and very similar to Phoebe style wise. There are differences in the leather though, the leather seems a bit more sturdy, not as soft and slouchy but that may not be a bad thing depending on individual preferences.
Phoebe is one of my favorites, and I like this Edie style also.

I've picked up a few of the Coach HC bags and the leather on this Edie is one of the nicest.
I love the print also, it is similar to a great bag I saw and passed up a few years ago, thinking I would wait and pick it up later on sale, and then unfortunately never saw it again. So now I am happy with this one, and I can forget that other "bag that got away" LOL.

$200is a bargain. I pondered so long over the purple embossed over at L&T but read reviews that it is huge. I did not purchase it in the end. Thought of dropping an email to Coach to check whether it will be available in the small instead, in the future.

I really will love to add a purple bag to my collection and since there seems to be no way to get the Black Violet Phoebe (I'm out of US, thus the payment screen at FOS rejects my PayPal, detecting it is international)... I just might have to give the Edie a go.... thanks for sharing with me your story, I will try not to let the purple Edie "get away". *winks
