Yes, I consider it a neutral, and I also carry mine in the summer. My husband who never compliments bags says it’s very classy looking.

I'm new around here so I hope it's alright to ask this here! I'm considering asking for the Edie Turnlock (in black/gold) for my birthday. I've read in some reviews thst it tends to look bulky though - what are your experiences? On a regular basis I carry wallet, small makeup /medical bag, phone, calendar, small notebook, book, sometimes ipad pro 10,5" and/or water bottle.

Do you think the Edie is for me or does it not fit much stuff? Thanks for your help

I have two and they never look bulky. That being said you will definitely be carrying more than me. I would also double check to see how the iPad Pro will fit in it.

Update: I bought the Outlet version of the Edie, the Lexy, while at the beach on vacation. I liked the style so much I started yearning for a "real" Edie, so I bought the metallic graphite one. However, I find myself going back to the Outlet version a lot more than the more expensive one. It is softer and "plusher" if that makes sense. Also, the inside slip pocket is stitched to be two pockets, not one long one. Lesson for me... buying made for retail purses does not necessarily mean I am getting anything "better." I just spend twice the money on the Edie!! If I decide to get another color in this style it will be a Lexy, not an Edie.

I believe the 31, but I am no expert on this. Maybe somene else can help

I don't have many Edie bags and only have the 42's that came out in the last year or so - the ones with the large pebbling and suede sides. I think the 42 is bigger and agree the 31 is probably what you are comparing to.

I have both and can confirm the regular Lexy is similar in size to the Edie 31.

The Edie 31 does not fit much at all. A black Edie 31 was delivered to me yesterday. I unpacked it and put my things in it, which is a cell phone, wallet and keys. My H 3.75" x W 6.5" x L 11" cosmetic case did not fit in. I am trying to decide whether to keep it of not. I really don't need to carry makeup other than lipstick and she is a beautiful bag.

I stopped carrying around makeup a while ago and it was the best decision for me! Now I just carry lipstick or gloss. I realized I never really touched up my makeup besides maybe to repowder but I just use a tissue to blot now if I get shiny lol

But if the bag isn’t love don’t keep it. Good luck!
