Haven't been on in a while I think I forgot to "quote"...
I just ordered this from L&T. how do you like this? I'm not sure if I love it yet...it's a lil bigger (height wise) than I'm used to. I have the original Edie and this is a couple inches taller.

I stopped in the retail store to look at a brown Coach with full intentions of buying one. But I spied the metallic graphite and it called to me. It will go with almost anything and is good year round. I contacted Coach this morning about the durability of the metallic leather and they assured me that I can carry it as much as I like and can clean it with a soft cloth and water. You cannot beat that. I did not think I would be able to capture the true color but by placing it on this shelf I think I got as close as I can get. So excuse the background. Enjoy your Edie.

Update: I bought the Outlet version of the Edie, the Lexy, while at the beach on vacation. I liked the style so much I started yearning for a "real" Edie, so I bought the metallic graphite one. However, I find myself going back to the Outlet version a lot more than the more expensive one. It is softer and "plusher" if that makes sense. Also, the inside slip pocket is stitched to be two pockets, not one long one. Lesson for me... buying made for retail purses does not necessarily mean I am getting anything "better." I just spend twice the money on the Edie!! If I decide to get another color in this style it will be a Lexy, not an Edie.

I'm so happy to hear you love the Lexy! I have bought and returned the Edie and have been looking at the Lexy but it isn't quite big enough for me. Low and behold I just got an email from the outlet yesterday and the have a new larger size of the Lexy!! I can't wait to check it out!!!

I am so glad the post was helpful. That will be a big bag! The Lexy is large, it just is so puddly that does not look large. Please post a photo and mod shot when you get it. I would like to see how much bigger it is.

IMG_5198.JPG Happened upon this Edie 31 in stone color glovetanned leather with tea rose tooling today at 40% off at Macy's. OMG, I am in love with this gorgeous bag! The brushed nickel hardware is also lovely. Very well made bag. And, not too big. Love the wide interior slip pocket for my Plus size phone. Also scored a matching color wallet/wristlet on sale, too. Coach really knocked this one out of the park!

I just got the large Lexy in oxblood. The contrast with the gold hardware is just beautiful!
