I don't seem why he's being a bastard for wanting to confirm it's his child. They're not together anymore, so he can't be 100% sure it's his until the paternity test.
Granted, I've not followed the whole story, so perhaps there's something I'm missing.

There was a great interview with Mel B right after Angel was born and she said that she told Eddie that she was pregnant (she even said the pregnancy was planned) and he was really happy about it. After a few weeks (when she was back in England, announcing the pregnancy to her parents and friends) he stopped answering her phone calls etc. and from the newspaper she found out he had somebody else. In my opinion this makes him a bastard.

Wow! I never followed the story, but Eddie has got some nerves!!!

I'm glad that the test now show and I hope (for Angel's sake) that he steps up as a father!

I actually agree with Charles on this one. The way he did it was tacky but I think he should question now instead of later. It should make people of both sexes think of who they sleep with and the possible consequences. I'm sure she THOUGHT she knew him.

I've really lost a lot of respect for Eddie after this.. Of course, we don't know the full story, but the fact is that he is Angel's dad and that (from what we've heard and read and what not) treated Mel pretty crappy..
