I know, I was a bit freaked out too when I read that he hadn't been heard from! I think he's ok though, and that him not writing to them anymore was completely unrelated to the prank.

Yeah! That freaked me out too! I mean, did he mess with someone in organized crime and get popped off? In fact, I really liked that powerbook prank until I got to the last line, and then I got all worried!

Am also weirded out by that last line in the Powerbook scam. Usually scam baiters don't use their real address. However, even in the cases where they do, nothing usually happens to them.
