It's sad when people do that and don't pay. I often ask because I get paid one week and my husband the next so it's payday every week and if I win something on a Sunday, they may have to wait until Wens or Thurs depending on the week. I guess I may have ticked some sellers off by asking but I always pay that AM right before work.

Well NEVER AGAIN!!!! She ruined it for any honest person that may of asked and actually paid. It was my first & last time!!! OH...and I just checked my feedback and she left me positive feedback saying "Thank You" :shrugs:

Jayne: I don't mind waiting for the buyer to pay, but only if they keep their word. I wish more buyers were like you and were just as honest. I understand buyers wanted to wait until a certain day to collect enough funds/get paid to purchase the item, that's fine. But for some reason this buyer made me wait about 2 weeks and no payment whatsoever. It annoyed the heck out of me. The buyer was lucky I didn't file an NPB on them. Next time this happens again I won't be so nice.

VydaVeda: It's so strange these NPBs leave positive feedbacks after a certain amount of time. All the NPBs I've gotten before also left me positives, but destroy my Seller Stars. The last NPB that left me a positive said "very understanding seller", UNDERSTANDING? Umm... no. That buyer wasted all my time for nothing. If they didn't want the item anymore, just flat out say so. Don't waste the seller's time!!! Sigh. I'm sorry Vyda you have to go through all that trouble with that stupid buyer. What a :cursing:

Thanks Princess Garnet! I really do not understand some buyers! I agree with you about them just being honest and flat out saying they don't want it or whatever the case may be. I can respect that more then just out right ignoring the situation (that they created!).

I was reading her feedback and apparently she has been doing this quite a bit lately to sellers. She has some interesting feedback comments.

Buyer won item on May 24th and asked prior if I would wait until June 1st for payment to which I agreed. June 1st no payment, so I send invoice and message asking for payment. Buyer asks to mutually cancel transaction due to potential Canada Post strike and unwilling to pay slightly higher shipping fees for UPS/Fedex nor willing to wait for package to arrive.

I did - to avoid any further hassle and so I could get the bag relisted asap :-s
Ugh! That's why these buyers get away with this nonsense. It encourages them to continue doing it.

Just so you know, once she responded to the UID, you can end communication, close the dispute and give the buyer a strike. When the buyer gets a strike, she can't neg you and you'll get your FVF back and be able to relist.

Could a buyer still neg me if I agree to a mutual cancellation?

GAH ! I get mad at this. We have all be aware of the strike for quite some time. They actually could have went on strike on the 24th but did not until now. I know I took a gamble bidding on things and I paid this morning being fully aware of things being stuck. I checked out the alternatives, however, since I am in a rural area, I am in the 1% that UPS and Fedex cannot reach during this strike as they rely on Canada Post to get to my PO box. (I live on a dirt road, no street address) so I went with usps knowing the wait that is going to happen. THIS IS NO EXCUSE. THIS HAS BEEN IN THE MEDIA A LONG TIME AND EVERYONE THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN MAY 24TH !!!! :wtf:

^I even suggested to the buyer that perhaps I could go across the border and ship from the States but no dice. Obviously wasn't willing to work with me at all.

I have to say that I was actually completely unaware of the strike but think that they will get legislated back to work before too long anway!

Bought Authentic Birkin for £7000 after sending loads of emails. Then said she couldn't pay for 2 days, then 4 days, then a week. Filed UIR and heard nothing. I can't leave negative feedback and can't see how anyone would know that she did this from her rating - stiill 100%.

I know, right?? When I bid on an item from England, I was aware of an impending Canada Post strike. I bid anyway. When I won, I was under the impression a full strike was imminent. I celebrated my win regardless! When I paid (immediately btw) I thought, "So I might just have to wait a little longer." I have no idea how the current rotating strikes will affect my waiting time, but what can you do? I'm just excited it's on the way!
