Made an offer on a BIN that I accepted. Then she messages me that she has another seller with the same purse for $50 less. I told her the time for negotiation is before not after an offer is accepted. Luckily she asked to cancel so I did and then I blocked her.

I have another crazy who keeps insisting there is a problem with my account - which is why she can't pay. I called ebay and my account is fine. I'm guessing she's confusing me with another seller or she has a paypal issue. I have a feeling I'll be sharing her name here shortly LOL

BIN. Paid immediately. But then made unreasonable demands to remove the signature confirmation. Buyer got aggressive and belittling in his messages really quickly. I explained reasons why it needs to be on there (transaction is over $750). He agrees that it's fine and he told me everything was alright because he made arrangements with FedEx. Then he says he never got it and blames it on the signature confirmation, he also told me he won't be picking it up because he's going out of town for a week. Fedex showed 3 attempted deliveries + a hold at their offices for almost 2 weeks. I told him multiple times he can arrange for pick up + they hold packages if he's going to travel. He simply never wanted to go get it! Now he's demanding a refund and opened a "item never received" claim.

Yikes! 33 feedbacks left by him; 1/3 of them negs!

I was right - she flaked! She made an offer that was immediately accepted and then asked me if I got her payment. I said no and after getting multiple messages like this one she never paid. And my account is just fine thank you LOL. I called ebay and we can't figure out what her deal is. BLOCK!

"Hello,

I was very sad to hear that ebay has suspended your account from doing transactions.

You should feel very bad as well."

Not a non-pay, but a pita buyer that thinks the Coach bag I sold her wasn't authentic due to the hang tag being different from two of her other Coach bags. Gave her the link to see it authenticated on TPF Authenticate that Coach board, but she still had doubts.

Not non-paying buyers but clothing sellers heads up on these 2, both left me positive negative feedback and one wanted to keep my item and wanted a refund, both complain of mystery odors on clothing...they both leave appalling feedback, why oh why do they buy things off ebay??

I just discovered this thread and think it's a really great idea. I will share the list of (blocked) non paying buyers I have made in the last 2 years
elisaperez0711 (never paid, no communication, nothing)
robertg.sherwood (sold expensive item as "pick up only" to protect myself from scams. Buyer just wrote after end of auction that "no, really did not feel like driving that far", and then never agreed to cancel transaction!)
salina0616 (made offer, I accepted, then said she did not really know what "make an offer" means.... was only playing around with eBay!)

This sounds like the last episode I had when selling barely used designer items on ebay. One bidder won designer sunglasses I was selling. Never heard from them nor did they pay, and I gave them 4 days to contact me. Never did respond. I had this same thing happen once before (I sell usually once a year on ebay). I felt the potential sunglass buyer was just playing around making bids but was never serious about purchasing. I ended up canceling the auction, requesting a refund of ebay fees, and gave the item away, chalking it up to good will. I always sell authentic items and actually over-disclose any wear on the item, to a fault. I am honest Abe, but there are scammers out there, and they are not just on ebay. My advice when purchasing on ebay, is to look at the person's feedback. I make a rule to never purchase from anyone with a feedback of less than 90%. I also look at the seller's numbers of items sold....if they have sold 1,500 items (as example) and have an 89% rating, I don't worry. In this case a lot of items have been sold and there are always people who are going to complain about something to ruin your rating. As a purchaser, I've never been stung, because I only deal with sellers that have a really good rating. As a seller, I remain a 100% rating because I sell the way I'd want to be treated when purchasing. However, not all people are honest. This is a major pity.

Not a non-paying buyer but definitely a PITA.

- Package was delivered and signed for on Feb 8.
- Filed a SNAD case on eBay on April 5. eBay closed the case in my favor.
- Filed another SNAD case on Paypal on April 8. PP once again closed it in my favor.
