Thank you dear! I am sorry you had such a bad experience too! It can be very stressful on evilbay and I have actually not sold for 1 or 2 years prior to this, well, I sold two items sucessfully Before this belt. Feedback extortion was something buyers did earlier, now the rules are so lax and in their favour that they do not need to take that route. Once I had someone asking to return a pair of boots because they didn`t fit and I accepted immediately. They never shipped them back since shipping was Close to $100 for a package of that size and weight.

My buyer refused the partial refund so I Think it is buyers remorse. I Think they also Believe they will get a refund Before shipping it back to me. I agreed to refund them on receiving my item back in the same condition as it originally was. I messaged them through the ebay system to let them know that.

I am not too worried getting a negative since I do not plan on Selling much there anymore. The new rules that are coming into effect on November 15 (I Think) let buyers keep an item for 180 Days and still return/open a claim. It is free rental of my items and I cannot accept that. It used to be only 45 Days.

Why do I suspect it is buyers remorse or some other shady reason? If there were a scratch on the buckle (which there is not) the buyer would most probably have accepted my $100 partial refund because of the simple fact that when they started wearing the belt the buckle would automatically get scratches. At least that is my conclusion. Of course the fact that the belt was new makes me Think it must be buyers remorse obviously. They never communicated at all, not Before buying nor after. That to me is also a red flag.

This! When I got that info from e-bay I couldn't believe it. Seriously, what were they smoking when they came up with this new gem.
 
Block and do not buy from maria8784 - scammer who files chargebacks on authentic items just to get her money back. I've been blasting ebay on twitter all week to no avail. They offer to help but then don't get back to me.

Never ships items after they have been paid and gives 1001 excuses as to why. She filed a nonpayment case against me after she had payment for 2 weeks and 1 after I opened an item not received cas . Case closed and I received a strike that ebay removed because I paid her 2 weeks before. Due to this case, I can no longer leave feedback for the transaction. She never sent the item and I was refunded by paypal. Her last feedback was all negative for the item not received.

Stay away from her, time waster!

With a feedback score of 88%, her DSR ratings at 3.9 - 4.1 and 6 negs in the last 12 months, I'm surprised she's still allowed to sell.

That is exactly what I said to the ebay rep yesterday on the phone. I really, really want to leave her another well deserved negative. The rep said he will investigate to get her NARU'd but I seriously doubt it. She has found a way to manipulate the system to get out of receiving her negative feedback and they will do nothing about it,

This is the kind of nonsense that really makes the hair stand up on my neck. Buyers and sellers who are obviously problem children and e-bay does nothing about them. I've been a power seller on and off since '99 and have 100% perfect feedback since day one. E-bay reps have even commented how unusual that is. A few years back I listed a Chanel bag I'd purchased from a Chanel boutique, most of my listings are high end items. Some genius at e-bay decided my bag was fake and pulled the listing, stating I was attempting to sell a counterfeit bag. I called e-bay and told them I had the receipt and that they could even call my sales associate at the boutique to authenticate the bag. The e-bay rep said no dice and that if I attempted to list the bag again that e-bay would close down my account.

This incident still pisses me off.

btodd90 - recently did a BIN of one of my items, paid by eCheck which was declined-had to file for FVF credit back. After cancelling I got a baloney message from her: "since my account was hacked please issue me a refund" - her other recent feedback indicates I'm not the only seller to have this problem...

Laticiarob71 non paying bidder. EBay opened their case, 4 days into it she writes me and tells me she doesn't have the funds, I reply then don't bid on items, she replies no problem, relist item.
 
Mygirlsmommy0405 bought a NWT item from me, used it for two weeks, then wrote to say she wanted either a full refund or a partial refund as the item was cracking. Sent me photos of the wallet with her things in it. She knows how to work the system for sure.

I had similar problem with a buyer. I just refunded her the 80% of original selling price. As a seller we can argue for Item returned not in Original Condition. Ebay will honour in buyer's favour first anyway. But you must appeal with good sufficient evidence to support yourself. I won that from the appeal and payment reversed to me. Blocked her anyway!!!
