Long story short: Bid on item, never paid, ignored messages/no communication, unpaid item opened and closed against them on the April 13th. Opened an item not received case on June 9th, demanding a full refund..
Long story long:
So about two months ago in april they bought a pair of boots from me. They were located in another country (portugal) while I'm in the U.S and had ignored the description on my listing asking buyers to please confirm the shipping with me if they were international. They ignored several of my messages to them asking them if they had changed their mind, etc etc, my unpaid item assistant ended up opening a case and closing it against them for nonpayment. Annoying but a typical headache for ebay.
So imagine my surprise when I logged in last week on June 9th to find that they had opened an item not received case against me..almost two months after they had bid on the item and after an unpaid item case was closed in my favor against them on April 13th along with a message stating
""i want the money back, it spends almost 2 months and now i don't want this boots."
I can't imagine they forgot to pay for it and thought they did because an advanced bidder search shows they purchase around 1-3 items per month if at all, and even if they did was it possible they also didn't see my messages either or the reminders from ebay that go into their personal email that an unpaid item case has opened and closed?
I think an honest buyer would have at least attempted to message me if they were genuinely trying to resolve a problem but throughout this entire experience this buyer has never sent me a single communication.
It's more likely that not only is this person unscrupulous but they are also too stupid and inept to even scam properly. I mean everyone knows you're supposed to pay for it first and THEN pretend you didn't get it
When they bid they only had 2 feedbacks, as of now they have 7, all bids on really cheap items, possibly trying to build up some feedback so they look more credible when they try to rip people off. Their history/bids are all for mens items and but the item they bid on of mine was a pair of women's boots.
Also even though it says Portugal on the profile the ebay agent I spoke to when I escalated the case says they are actually registered in the UK..sketchy..
